A rare colour photo of 27 of the original 1966 world cup squad.
This item is framed, glazed and mounted with a beautiful gold or blue inlay.
The photo was taken at Lilleshall by a young photographer who was given 10 minutes by Alf Ramsey. As well as the 27 players, it also features 3 trainers and the manager Ramsey. This was before he reduced the squad to the final 22.
The photographer also got the signatures of everybody in the photo. However, he sold the originals for a few hundred pounds, several years ago!
However, he kept a copy of the original autographs and so these are the signatures you can see.
The signatures are listed with the team the player was with, and are as follows:
Martin Peters – West Ham, Geoff Hurst – West Ham, Bobby Tambling – Chelsea, Keith Newton – Blackburn Rovers, Peter Bonetti – Chelsea, Jack Charlton – Leeds, Norman Hunter – Leeds, Ron Flowers – Wolves, John Burn – West Ham, John Connelly – Manchester United, Nobby Stiles – Manchester United, terry Paine – Southampton, Les Cocker (Trainer) – Leeds, Harold Sheperdson (trainer) – middlesborourgh, gordon Banks – Leicester City, Bobby Moore – West Ham, George Cohen – Fulham, Alf Ramsey (Manager), Wilf McGuinness (trainer) – Manchester United, Jimmy Armfield – Blackpool, Jimmy Greaves – Tottenham Hotspur, Alan Ball – Blackpool, Ron Springett – Sheffield Wednesday, Gordon Milne – Liverpool, Ian Callaghan – Liverpool, Roger Hunt – Liverpool, Gerry Byrne – Liverpool, George Eastham – Arsenal, Peter Thompson – Liverpool, Ray Wilson – Everton, Bobby Charlton – Manchester United
